The Fireshield® TimberOne system provides a translucent finish designed to reduce the yellowing of light coloured timbers while highlighting the natural grain. It provides a certified Group 1-S fire rating on interior timber surfaces such as pine, CLT, birch and spruce panels, boards and battens.
The full Fireshield® TimberOne system is a is a fully waterborne intumescent coating system consisting of two products:
• TimberOne Intumescent Basecoat and:
• TimberOne Top Coat.
The full Fireshield® TimberOne system can be installed in dry interior building spaces with uncontrolled atmospheres up to C3 Interior (ISO 12944-2) zones and include the following :
• The constant relative humidity is >75% or
• When a wipeable surface is required.
The TimberOne Basecoat can be installed without the TimberOne Top coat in dry, heated interior building spaces with controlled, clean C1 atmospheres (ISO 12944-2) or when:
• The constant relative humidity is <75% or
• When a wipeable surface is not required.
